Bismillah, Assalamualikum. And welcome to my Channel. Today we are going to make Chicken Lentils. It is a very easy and simple recipe. Firstly, we will need Bengel Gram. We have taken 1 Cup Bengel Gram After thoroughly washing it, we will soak it in water for 3-4 hours. Now, we will put a pressure cooker on the stove on ‘Medium Flame’. And we will add 3/4 Cup Oil. The rest of the Oil will be used later. We will add 1 medium-sized chopped onion. We will fry it quickly. We will fy it until it becomes soft and the colour changes a bit. Now we will add Chopped Garlic or 1 and 1/2 tbsp Garlic Paste. We will mix it properly in it. With this, we will add Ginger You can take Ginger Paste. Or finely chopped ginger. We will mix it with it. When the colour changes We will add 1 Medium-sized Tomato [chopped]. We will cook it until it becomes soft. We have taken Chicken 500g After washing the Chicken, we will put it into our pressure cooker. And we will mix it until Our Oil separates. We are going to mix the Chicken until Its colour changes. Look, the colour has changed. We have mixed it for approximately 3-4 minutes. And now, We will add our dry masalas. First of all, we will add 1/2 tsp termeric, 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 and 1/2 tsp Salt. And then, we will combine the contents. We will mix the Masala Look how amazing the Masala’s colour is! Our Masala has been mixed; now we will add our lentils. Which we soaked in water. For 3-4 hours. Now we will mix our lentils into it. Our lentils have been mixed. The Oil is separating from the Masala. Look, the Oil is separate. Now we will add 3-4 Cups Water We will cover it and leave it to cook. We will cook the lentils for 2-3 whistles. Now I will take the lid off and show you. Look, the lentils are in this condition. If you prefer to have less gravy, you can cook it for longer. Now we will make the tempering. To make the tempering, we will use our leftover Oil. We will take that and a pan. In that, we will add our Oil. Along with that, we will add a sliced Onion. We will make the onion light brown. Our onion has become light brown. Now we will add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds. Straight after that step, we will turn the flame off and put it in the lentils. Now we will mix the lentils. After mixing the lentils, We will add Green Coriander. I didn’t have fresh Coriander available, so I used frozen Coriander instead. Withthat, we will add 1 tsp Gharam Masala.
