I was hooked on the taste of meat and my idea was how we can produce meat without animals with the same taste the same texture and the same experience. People like meat and that’s what we think, what we believe. It’s not necessary to live without meat you can eat meat as much as you want only it is meat without the use of animals. Our main customer group that we want to surprise are actually the meat-lovers you know that they can come enjoy our meals without thinking ‘Oh I miss the meat or I miss the fish’. We have a sushi roll with the no-mackerel fish and it’s so close to the original flavour so a lot of people get really happy to taste that again. I can see you know in their reaction that they’re like ‘Wow! Real nice man, I really miss it.’ Our goal is to revolutionize the food industry and the restaurant business and show people that it’s possible if they skip the meat one time a week that’s already a nice step towards a better world. I was dreaming about a machine that can replace animals to produce meat from what we feed the animals and the beans, the wheat the peas that we put into the machine and we can produce a very tasty plant-based meat. No one needs to save the world on their own but if everybody makes a small effort then we are all going to profit.
