Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to Akis Kitchen,
the best Greek channel on YouTube! Today, I will show you how you can make your life healthier and easier, at the same time! Because we will cook Chicken penne alfredo light! I will show you the best way to have a light pasta with chicken and broccoli! An exceptionally quick, delicious and healthy dish! First of all, I have to make a promise that in eight minutes, maximum ten minutes, your dish will be ready! Just follow my instructions! I have a pot here with boiling water, and I will add my wholegrain pasta. Perfection. A little bit of salt…bravo! And I have my broccoli here. The big pieces, I will cut them in half. The small pieces, I will leave them as they are. And the broccoli goes in, at the same time.
Now, just stir a little bit… and let’s carry on with the chicken. First, we need a pan, non-stick. Now, I need gloves. And you have to be very careful with chicken. We always consider the cross contamination. So, I will add some salt, some pepper… some chili flakes… some thyme… and of course, some extra virgin Greek olive oil. I have two lovely chicken breasts here
and I will cut them into pieces, like this. As you can see, I will touch nothing else inside my kitchen with my dirty hands. So, my pan is extremely hot.
I will add the chicken. Now, I have two cloves of garlic… thinly slice them… and inside the pan. I have some dried tomatoes… and I will chop them, like this. But I will not add them now because first, we have to add the cream. Now, give a nice color to the chicken and when the chicken is golden brown, deglaze the pan with the cream. I’m using light cream, only 10% fat because we are making a light dish. And wait a minute until the sauce starts to thicken. Now, I will add the tomatoes. Trust me, dried tomatoes and cream
are the best combination. Look at this sauce! It’s thick enough and my pasta is almost ready… and I will add it to the pan with the broccoli. This is delicious! Now stir a little bit, like this. Just some final touches… Chicken and velvety, creamy sauce. And now it’s time for the cream cheese,
always at the end so it will not split. Mix it to give this creamy flavor to the pasta… and look at this sauce! And when the pasta is hot,
it absorbs all this lovely sauce. Now, it’s time to serve but before I serve,
I will add a little bit more thyme… a little bit of oregano… and I will serve this lovely pasta, look at this! A little bit more thyme… some freshly ground pepper… and the only thing that is missing from this dish
is a fork to enjoy it! I will not ruin this lovely dish,
I will try some from the pan. The chicken is so juicy,
the pasta is al dente, so creamy! And make this lovely pan for your friends! See you next time!
Bye bye, yia sas! Oh, my God!
