So we have a muffin tin, this is smaller than the ones that we use for the bell peppers, but we are going to make mini meatloaf muffins. Say that fast five times. Mini meatloaf muffins. All we’re going to do is take a little olive oil put it on our paper towel and grease these little muffin pans up. I might be able to get all of them in there. You need to you use your hands too, Obviously if you’re cooking you’ve got clean hands, that’s a given. You don’t want to make all your friends ill. So just give everybody a good greasing. The only thing you could do is, you can use muffin papers or cupcake wrappers or whatever. They gross me out because it gets a little greasy and I don’t like looking at that. So I just prefer to put them in here. Now meatloaf traditionally takes about
an hour to cook. When we’re doing in these little muffin pans, it takes about 20 minutes. So that’s why I like it, it’s just really fast and super easy. We will show you in a little while what we’re going to do with that. You just push them in, like so. It’s like cookies, just push them in and you’re done with it. That’s it. It’s easy easy easy peasy. Again, this is something that you could really get your kids helping you out and doing. The more you have your kids in the kitchen, the more self-reliant they’re going to be when they get older. You want your children to learn how to cook. Learning how to cook is basically in my
opinion, it’s like learning how to brush your teeth and floss. It’s a life skill, it’s important. This is how they can keep themselves fit and keep themselves out of the drive thru. Believe me, when they’re raised like this, this is how they’ll want to eat as well. They want to eat healthy and they want to eat good, because that’s what they know and that’s what makes them feel better.
Even though they might fight you on it when they’re younger, when they get older they will come back, I promise. So here you go… This is going to be perfect, I can’t believe this, it’s like I planned this. Almost. See? Meatloaf muffins. Aren’t they cute, tiny and fun? I’ve got just a little bit left and just go fill in the gaps, anybody who didn’t quite get enough. You want them about even like that, little pieces of onion. Also by the way, some kids freak out over great big pieces of onion, so chop it smaller. My folks happen to like big old pieces of onion and I think if we could, we’d eat onion like an apple in this house. We just loves it that much. Alright, there you go, that’s it. 375 degrees for 20 minutes and we have Mini Meatloaf Muffins.
