do not cook turkey at 350 degrees . Good chance that turkey is not even edible but made to look cooked .Just under the leg looks too pink .

i taught myself how to cook my own turkey. of course i watched other people cooked theirs but any recipe can be adjusted to fit your liking as the cook…that is one of the greatest things about cooking. in regards to the turkey i cover it with foil..start out on slow heat 250 degrees for the first 1 1/2 then slowly bump it up to 300 for the other 1 hr and 350 for an additional hr. a 10-12 lb turkey of course….and you always check the turkey and rub a little butter on it while its cooking.
should have taken the foil off like 15 min before the turkey was done to let it brown up some more.

We just made this turkey and it was awesome! A TON of flavor. You trolls obviously did not try it. Two notes 1) DO NOT put the garlic mixture on the outside as the garlic will burn and become bitter, 2) the time frame is a bit long for a 10 pound turkey so watch it starting a bit earlier since it continues to cook even after being removed from the oven. We added a touch of cayenne for a bit of a zing – Delicious. We highly recommend this recipe.
