Welcome to Lucky Recipes. This time in our own little kitchen. Today we’ll be showing you guys a great dish to take to work: Egg Roll Wraps with Shrimps. Indrani and I mostly take home-cooked meals to work, because they taste better and save money. For the Egg Roll Wrap, we got inspiration from a classic Bengali Street Food and our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, where they serve an awesome omelette. For starters we will prepare our filling. We have already defrosted and dried some shrimps. Now, we need to cut our onion and garlic and fry everything. We would not be Robi and Indrani, if there was no chili in the meal. We use dried green chili. You could also use fresh green chilis and sprinkle them over the wrap. Real tasty! Today, we will make due with this. We will make a simple omelette and only use a bit of salt and pepper. The main taste comes from the fish sauce. Here we have some natural peanuts, which we will roast without oil and sprinkle over the wrap. We are almost done. We just need to whip up a dressing for our filling. For that we will use the lime, the fish sauce, a bit of roasted sesame oil and maple syrup. Time to fill the wrap. We start with the wrap itself, put the omelette on top and fill it with the shrimps. Then we will sprinkle the peanuts and Asian herbs, green onion, coriander and Thai basil on top. Forget you cantina food. Take this to work. Please like the video and subscribe. See you next time.
