Welcome to Shampa’s Kitchen Today I am going to prepare Dhaba Style or restaurant style Chicken Rezala If we can prepare restaurant style chicken rezala easily at home then It will be wonderful for us By preparing it in a quick and easy way, We can serve it with Roti, Paratha, Kulcha, Naan etc. So have a look at my recipe If you find it good and useful then do not forget to like and share To get regular new recipe updates do subscribe my channel now So let’s begin preparation of dhaba style or restaurant style chicken rezala Ingredients needed to prepare chicken rezala are 750 gm of Chicken sliced in big pieces Garam masala powder Two medium size onions cut into ring shape Whole Garam masala for seasoning Chopped green chillies ( 4 pcs ) 1 tbsp poppy seeds and 14 – 15 pcs cashew nuts pasted together Dry red chilli ( 4 – 5 pcs ) Ginger garlic paste, plain yogurt 200 gm Onion paste ( 3 pcs medium sized ), Ghee Black pepper powder Salt and sugar as per taste, refined oil We will first marinate the chicken For marination, we will take 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp of plain yogurt 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder 1/2 tsp of salt 2 tbsp of refined oil Now blend the chicken properly with the ingredients and leave it for minimum 1 hour We can also keep it for 2 – 3 hours it must be kept in a refrigerator Now heat the pan and add 1 tbsp of ghee and 2 tbsp of refined oil you can also make this entirely using only ghee instead of refined oil After the oil is heated, add whole garam masala (Cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper) for seasoning Cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper (whole garam masala) added Dry red chilli added Fry it for 10 – 15 seconds Add dry red chilli without breaking it Now add onion paste 3 pcs of medium sized onion pasted earlier fry it properly After frying it properly add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste Fry it for 2 minutes After frying Paste of 1 tbsp of poppy seeds and 14 – 15 pcs of cashew nuts added Fry it for 1 minute Now add chopped green chillies and plain yogurt 200 gm of plain yogurt was taken at first Among which a little amount was used for marination and the rest part was blended well Now the blended yogurt is being added Chicken rezala gravy is whitish in colour Now we will add salt and sugar as per taste 1/2 tsp of salt 1 tsp of sugar we uses a little extra amount of sugar specifically for this recipe you can add salt and sugar as per your tastebuds Finally we will add the marinated chicken to the whitish gravy I have marinated the chicken for 2 hours Now cook it well for few minutes before adding water cook in high flame The Chicken has been cooked for 3 – 4 minutes Now I will add the water 2 cups of water added gravy has been boiled Now close the lid and cook it for 15 minutes in medium flame In between we must stir the gravy for 1 or 2 times to prevent burning or sticking 15 minutes have passed We can see a little amount of oil has been extracted from the gravy Now we will add onion rings ( 2 pcs of medium sized onions ) After adding it, cook it for 5 minutes more in high flame cover it again and cook it for 5 minutes more in high flame 5 minutes have passed Our chicken rezala recipe has almost come to an end Now I am going to taste it A little amount of salt and sugar is needed 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar added add sugar as per your taste Lastly we will add some garam masala powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder added mix it well. the gravy has now thicken the gravy is now looking very rich and white the oil has also been well extracted Finally after adding 1 tsp of ghee I will switch off the oven Our chicken rezala is ready to serve Turning off the oven Now leave it covered for 5 minutes before serving 5 minutes have passed I am serving it Hot and delicious Chicken rezala is perfect to serve with roti, paratha, naan, kulcha etc. as side dish Our today’s recipe Chicken rezala is now complete You guys have seen how easily I have
