It’s brisket week brisket week and one
of my favorite ways to utilize leftover brisket is to make super high-end nachos. I mean nachos are fantastic and if you do them with lots of really fun ingredients, they can be more than just you know a boxed, you know fast-fooder kind of snack. And the first thing that I want to do is spread my onion, tomato, now these are black beans. We cooked them off you can use canned if you like. Now these are homemade hot and sweet jalapeno slices. You do want a little bit of
cilantro yes it’s gonna cook underneath the cheese and then of course the binder
and please use a good cheese I mean we actually took a box grater to some nice sharp cheddar, it doesn’t have to be super fancy.
So a couple slices of brisket super choppy but you just want enough
sprinkled on there so that little bits of that rich delicious brisket go on there and of course that means a little bit more cheese. This tray goes into a 500 degree oven for five six seven eight minutes. You can hear them sizzling, we’re going
to stack piles of these on the plate. Now you can take these right into the room with your friends and put them all down in front of them on a towel or you can
make three or four plates like this and then last but not least this is homemade
tomatillo avocado salsa recipe is on our website That’s pretty tasty!
